As we depart to 2013, we must agree that year 2012 was a great year for Hollywood movies & many blockbuster movies were produced. It was also the 100^th anniversary year of 2 big production houses ie Paramount Pictures & Universal Pictures. We are not saying this was the only year as Hollywood industry always produces great movies/films each year. In 2013 we are expecting around 15 – 20 blockbuster films as releasing date of upcoming movies are handy now a days.

Among other movies The Dark Knight Rises was the trend setter film which was directed by Christopher Nolan, A well-known director. It grossed over $1.081 billion worldwide. The Avengers & The hunger games also got great positive reviews. It was also a great year for animated movies like TED & others.
