Tomato Chicken Recipe

Tomato ChickenINGREDIENTS:-

  • Chicken= 1 kg (boneless or nor boneless optional)
  • Yogurt= 1 cup
  • Tomatoes= 4
  • Onion= 1
  • Green Chillies= 8-10
  • Coriander Leaves= ½ cup thinly chopped
  • Ginger/ Garlic Paste= 1- ½ tbsp.
  • Salt= to taste
  • Red Chilli Powder= 1 tbsp
  • Shan Fry Karahi Gosht Masala/ Mutton Fry Karahi Masala= 1-2 tbsp
  • Water= 1/3rd Cup
  • Oil= 1 -1 ½ dish Spoon

PREPARATION:-

Preparation Time= 45 minutes

Serves= 6-8 people

METHOD:-

Take Oil in a Pan or Wok on a medium flame. Add Ginger/ Garlic Paste and stir for a minute before adding Chicken.

The Chicken will leave its water. Let it dry.

Blend Yogurt, Tomatoes, Onion and 6 Green Chillies together in a blender to form a smooth paste.  Add this mixture/ paste in the Chicken.

Increase the flame from medium to high. Add Salt, Red Chilli Powder, Shan Fry Karahi Gosht Masala/ Mutton Fry Karahi Masala and mix well with a spoon.

When the mixture/ paste/ gravy starts to boil, turn the flame to low from high.

Cook till the Chicken gets tender.

Take the Coriander Leaves and blend them with 1/3 rd Cup of Water. Add this paste in the Chicken.

Keep aside and garnish with Green Chillies.

Serve hot with a Nan.
