Spicy Honey Chicken


  • Chicken= 1 Cup boneless and Shredded
  • Cabbage= 2 cups shredded and chopped finely
  • Onions= 1 sliced vertically in thin pieces
  • Carrots= 1 cup sliced vertically and finely
  • Capsicum or Bell Pepper= 1 sliced vertically and finely (then cut into half)
  • Garlic= 3 cloves (crushed)
  • Dried Red Chillies= 3-4 Chopped
  • Honey= 3 tbsp
  • White Vinegar= 1 tbsp
  • Red Chilli Sauce= 3 tbsp
  • Worcestershire Sauce= 2 tbsp
  • Soya Sauce= 2 tbsp
  • Tomato Ketchup= 3 tbsp
  • Black Pepper Powder= 1 tsp
  • White Pepper Powder= ½ tsp
  • Red Chilli Powder= 1 tsp
  • Salt= to taste
  • Oil= as needed



Time required= 25-30 minutes

Serves= 5-6 people



Take a deep bowl and add Chicken, Black Pepper Powder, White Pepper powder, Red Chilli Powder, Salt, Worcestershire Sauce, Red Chilli Sauce, Soya Sauce, Tomato Ketchup, Honey, Dried Red Chillies, 1 tbsp of Oil and Garlic. Let this mixture marinate for 1-2 hours.

Heat 1 dish Spoon of Oil in a Sauce pan. Add the marinated mixture of the Chicken and stir fry for 5-6 minutes.

Add vegetables (first Onions, then Carrots, Cabbage and Capsicum). Stir fry for a minute or two or till the vegetables are crisp.

Serve hot. Boiled Noodles can be added and mixed if you want.
