Mutton Chops Recipe

Ingredients:-

  • Mutton Chops= 12 to 14 pieces
  • Yogurt= 1 ½ cup
  • Green Chillies= 1 ½  tsp (chopped)
  • Red Chillies= 1 ½ tsp
  • Coriander Powder= 1 tsp
  • All Spice powder= 1 tsp
  • Ginger/Garlic paste= 1 tbsp
  • Tomato paste= 2 tsp
  • Meat Tenderizer Powder or Raw Papaya Paste= 1 ½  tsp
  • Lemon Juice = 2 tbsp
  • Black Pepper Powder= 1 tsp
  • Salt= 1- 1 ½ tsp
  • Oil= ½ cup

Method:-

Mix all the ingredients in Yogurt except Black Pepper Powder.

Marinate the Chops in this mixture for atleast 6 hours.

In a deep Pan, take oil and fry the chops one by one.

Avoid putting the excess mixture as much as possible with the chops in the pan for frying.

Fry chops for 8-10 minutes.

Then pour the remaining marinated mixture in the same Pan.

Cover and let it cook for 15 minutes on a medium flame turning the chops a few times.

Fry the Chops till they are golden brown in colour.

When almost cooked, uncover them and sprinkle Black Pepper powder on top.

If you want, leave some gravy with the Chops.

Serve Hot.
