How to make Chicken Ringlets with Gravy Recipe


  • Chicken Breasts= ½ kg thinly sliced (like pasande)
  • Red Chill Powder= 1-1 ½ tbsp
  • Black Pepper Powder= ½ tsp
  • Turmeric Powder= ½ tsp
  • Coriander Powder= 1 tsp
  • All Spices Powder= 1 tsp
  • Salt= 1 ½ tsp
  • Coriander Seeds= ½ tsp
  • Garlic= 8-9 cloves
  • Onion= 1 chopped
  • Green Chillies= 2-3 chopped very finely
  • Tomatoes= 2 chopped
  • Eggs= 2 (boiled)
  • Coriander Leaves= ½ cup chopped
  • Mint Leaves= ½ cup chopped
  • Worcestershire Sauce= 2 tbsp (optional)
  • Oil= ½ cup
  • Water= 1 cup



Time required to make Chicken Ringlets with Gravy=




To make Chicken Ringlets, first take a bowl and add ½ tsp Salt, Black Pepper Powder, ½ tsp Red Chilli Powder, Coriander Seeds, Green Chillies and chopped Mint Leaves. Mix well. (Mixture # 1)

Take a separate bowl and add the boiled Eggs. Mash the Eggs well.

Now take this boiled and mashed Egg paste and mix it with Mixture # 1.

Take the sliced Chicken Breast pieces that were finely cut and put this Egg and the mixture in the centre of each Chicken Breast piece. Roll the breast pieces in such a way to form a roll and tighten these with a thread.

Now to make the Chicken Ringlets Gravy, take Oil in a sauce pan or a wok on a medium flame. Heat Oil and fry Onions and Garlic cloves till golden.

Now add 1 tsp of Salt, 1 tbsp of Red Chilli Powder, Turmeric Powder, Worcestershire Sauce (optional), and 1 tbsp of Water and cook or around 10-12 minutes..

Now add the Chicken Rolls with the thread and pour the remaining Water in the sauce pan or the Wok.

Cook for more 20-30 minutes on a medium flame till these Chicken Rolls get tender.

Remove the wok or the sauce pan from the flame.

Remove the Chicken Rolls out of the wok or the Sauce pan in a plate or a tray, then remove the threads from the Chicken Rolls carefully and cut these Chicken Rolls into small Rings (small rings of Chicken also called as Chicken Ringlets)

Now for the Gravy of Chicken Ringlets, take a separate frying pan and add 2 tbsp of Oil. Fry Tomatoes and Coriander Leaves for 4-5 minutes or till the Oil separates.

Add the Chicken Ringlets again in the Wok. Then add in the fried Tomatoes and Coriander Leaves with the Oil.

Lastly to make Chicken Ringlets with Gravy, add All Spices Powder and cook for 5-6 minutes on low heat.

Remove from the heat and Serve this delicious Chicken Ringlets with Gravy hot with boiled Rice or Nan.
