Special Chicken Tikka (Grilled) Recipe


  • Chicken= 1 whole cut into 8 pieces
  • Ginger/ Garlic Paste= 1 tbsp
  • Lime Juice= 2 tbsp
  • Yogurt= ½ Cup
  • Turmeric Powder= 2 tsp
  • Coriander Seeds= 2 tbsp
  • All Spices Powder= 2 tsp
  • Red Chillies= 3 dried
  • Onion= ½ chopped
  • Salt= 1 tsp
  • Oil= 1 tbsp
  • French Fries= for serving
  • Tomato Ketchup= for serving



Take Red Chillies, Turmeric Powder, All Spices Powder, Coriander Seeds and Onion and grind them together.

Add this grinded mixture in a frying pan on a low flame. Add Lime Juice, Salt and Ginger/ Garlic paste and mix well.

Stir for about 2-3 minutes and then let it cool.

Take the Chicken pieces and make three cuts in each of them.

Take a bowl and add Yogurt, Oil and the Spice Mixture from the Frying Pan.

Marinate the Chicken with the mixture for 4-5 hours.

After this, wrap these Chicken Pieces in foil separately and seal well so the liquid (juices from the marination) don’t escape from the foil.

Take a hot Barbecue Grill and cook these Chicken Pieces hot for 15 minutes.

With the help of tong, remove the foil from the Chicken.

Grill again for 5-6 minute.

Your Chicken Tikka is ready. Serve hot with French fries and Tomato Ketchup.
