Dryness, Weight gain, Back-open sandals or shoes allow the fat under the heel to expand and increases the possibility of cracks on the heels. Deficiency (of vitamins, minerals, zinc and malnutrition), Disease and Disorders-Athlete’s foot, Psoriasis, Eczema, Thyroid disease, Diabetes and some other skin conditions may also cause cracked heels.

Here are a few Remedies which you can easily do at home to heal your Cracked feet or Cracked heels:-

  1. Dip your feet in a tub or basin full of Warm Water, 2 pinches of Salt Apply on your feet 2-3 tbsp Lemon Juice, ¼ cup Glycerine and1 cup of Rose Water paste and leave it for over-night. Wash next morning to find soft and healed feet. If needed do it thrice a week.
  1. Soak your feet in Apple Cider Vinegar mixed in Warm Water for 15-25 minutes. After this, dry your feet with towel and moisturize them with a cold cream, Vaseline or Cocoa Butter cream or little bit of Olive oil. Do this for a week to get the desired feet. Apple Cider Vinegar helps in Dry Cracked feet.
  1. Glycerine mixed with Rose Water makes an effective home treatmentfor cracked heels. Glycerine softens the skin while Rose water has vitamins A, B3, C, D, and E as well as antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties. Just mix equal amounts of glycerine and rose water thoroughly and rub it on your heels and feet daily over-night.
  1. Take a handful of Rice Flour, Add few tbsps Apple Cider Vinegar and Honey. Mix well to form a Thick and Smooth paste. Use it on Cracked Heels as Exfoliating Scrub
  1. Take a pinch of turmeric and 4-5 tbsp of Neem oil and mix them well to form a smooth paste. Apply it on your feet especially on the cracked heels with a brush.  Cover your feet with old pair of socks for over-night as turmeric will leave the colour and stains. Wash it off in the morning. Do this on daily basis and in a few weeks you’ll feel the change. You’ll get a soft and healed skin on your feet.
