How to Make Mutton Afghani Qorma Recipe

INGREDIENTS TO MAKE MUTTON AFGHANI QORMA RECIPE:-

  • Mutton(or beef)= 1 kg
  • Ginger Paste= 2 tsp
  • Garlic Paste= 3 tsp
  • Black Pepper Powder= 2 tsp
  • Yogurt= ½ cup
  • Coriander Powder= 2 tsp
  • Onions= 4 large (cut)
  • Green Chillies= 3-4 (sliced)
  • Ginger= 1 inch (thinly and finely sliced)
  • Coriander Leaves= 2 tbsp (finely chopped)
  • Lemon Juice= 1 tsp
  • Salt= to taste
  • Oil= 2 cups

 

PREPARATION FOR MUTTON AFGHANI QORMA RECIPE:-

Time required to make Mutton Afghani Qorma Recipe= 30-40 minutes

Serves= 5-7 people

 

METHOD TO MAKE MUTTON AFGHANI QORMA:-

To make Mutton Afghani Qorma Recipe, firstly wash and drain the Mutton or the Beef.

Secondly, to make Mutton Afghani Qorma, take the Onion Slices and blend them with the Yogurt in the blender.

Then take a deep pan or a wok. Heat Oil in it on a medium flame and add the blended Onion-Yogurt paste in it. Stir for four to five minutes.

Then add the washed and drained Mutton (or beef). Stir or two to three minutes then on a low flame, add Ginger paste, Salt, Black Pepper Powder, Coriander Powder, and Garlic Paste.

Stir and let it cook for 15-20 minutes or till the Mutton or beef tenders and until the Oil seperates from the Mutton Afghani Qorma gravy.

Add the Lemon Juice and cook for a minute or so before removing the wok or the pan from the stove.

Transfer this Mutton Afghani Qorma to a serving ish or a bowl and garnish this Mutton Afghani Qorma with Ginger slices, sliced Green Chillies and chopped Coriander Leaves.

Serve Mutton Afghani Qorma hot with Nan.
