How to make easy and different Prawn Recipes

  • HOW TO MAKE FRIED PRAWN BALLS RECIPE:-

       INGREDIENTS:-

  • Prawns= 1 kg raw ( shells and central veins removed)
  • Eggs= 2
  • Corn flour (heaped)= 6-8
  • Salt = to taste
  • Black Pepper Powder= to taste
  • Oil= for deep frying

PREPARATION:-

Time Required= 15-20 minutes

Serves= 5-7 people

 

METHOD:-
Take a blender and add half of the prawns into the blender with all the rest of the ingredients (Eggs, Corn Flour, Salt and Black Pepper Powder) and blend well to form a smooth mixture or a smooth paste.
Chop the rest of the prawns and add to the blended mixture. Combine well by using a spoon or by using hands.
Use your hands to make bite size prawn balls by taking a small amount of mixture in hands.

Take Oil in a deep pan and deep fry these prawn balls on a medium flame for 4-5 minutes or until they turn golden-brown.

Serve hot with Tartar Sauce and Chilli Garlic Sauce.

 

 

  • HOW TO MAKE FRIED POTATO PRAWNS RECIPE:-

       INGREDIENTS:-

  • Prawns= 12 (don’t remove their tails)
  • Potatoes= ½ Kg
  • Eggs= 1
  • Corn flour (heaped)= ½ Cup
  • All Spices Powder= 2 tsp
  • Salt = 2 tsp
  • Bread Crumbs= 1 Cup
  • Oil= 5-6 Cups

PREPARATION:-

Time Required= 30-40 minutes

Serves= 5-6 people

 

METHOD:-
Wash the Prawns and remove their shells and central veins.

Spread 1 tsp of Salt over the Prawns and keep it for 10-15 minutes.

Then roll these Prawns in Corn Flour.

Fry these Prawns in 1-2 tbsp Oil until the Prawns get tender.

In a separate Pan, boil the Potatoes in Water until they are soft. Peel them and mash them.

Add All Spices Powder, 1 tsp Salt, and 3 tsp Oil. Mix well.

Now take Prawns one by one and roll this Potato mixture or Potato Paste in such a way that the prawns hide in inside the Potato Mixture layer leaving the tail of the prawns outside the layer. (Potato layer should be covering the prawns except their tails).

In a small bowl, whip the Egg. Dip these Potato layer covered prawns in the whipped Egg, then in the Bread Crumbs evenly.

On a medium flame, take Oil in a deep pan and deep fry these Potato Prawns covered with whipped Egg and Bread Crumbs till they turn golden-brown.

Serve hot with Tomato Ketchup or Chilli Garlic Sauce and Tartar Sauce

 

 

 

  • HOW TO MAKE BUTTERFLY PRAWNS RECIPE:-

       INGREDIENTS:-

  • Prawns= 1 kg raw ( shells and central veins removed)
  • Eggs= 1
  • Corn flour (heaped)= 2 tbsp
  • Salt = to taste
  • Black Pepper Powder= 1 pinch
  • White Pepper Powder= 1 pinch
  • Ginger Garlic Paste= 1-2 tsp
  • Green Chillies= 3-4
  • Red Chilli Powder= 1 tsp (optional)
  • Bread Crumbs= as required
  • Oil= for deep frying

PREPARATION:-

Time Required= 15-20 minutes

Serves= 4-5 people

 

METHOD:-
Wash the Prawns and remove their shells and central veins. Do not remove their tails.

Take a deep bowl and whip the Egg in it. Then add Ginger/ Garlic Paste, Green Chillies, Red Chilli Powder, Corn Flour, Black Pepper Powder, White Pepper Powder and Salt. Mix well.

Spread Bread Crumbs in a dried separate tray.

Now dip the Prawns in the Egg mixture then in Bread Crumbs, evenly.

Take Oil in a deep pan and deep fry these Butterfly Prawns on a medium flame until they turn golden-brown.

Serve hot with Tomato Ketchup or Chilli Garlic Sauce and Tartar Sauce
