(QUICHE PASTRY AND FILLING RECIPE)
QUICHE INGREDIENTS:-

Time Required= 60-80 minutes.
Serves= 4-5 people
QUICHE RECIPE:-
To make Quiche Pastry, first take a bowl and sift All Purpose Flour (Maida) in it , then add 4 ounces or 100 grams of Unsalted Butter, Egg Yolk and ¼ tsp Salt. Rub these ingredients together until you get a breadcrumb texture.
Then add Cold Water enough to turn the bread crumb mixture into smooth and soft dough. Refrigerate this dough for 30-35 minutes.
Now, roll and line a 9 inch tart tin. Trim off the excess dough.
Prick with a fork and bake this Quiche pastry for 10-12 minutes or until the edges of the Quiche pastry starts turning golden brown. Remove from oven and keep aside.
For Quiche Filling, take 2 ounces or 25 grams of butter in a pan and add Onions, Tomatoes and Capsicum. Add ¼ tsp of Salt. Saute these vegetables on a medium high heat. Cook for 5 minutes and then add ¼ tsp of Thyme Powder.
Take a separate bowl and beat Eggs till foamy. Then pour the Cream and beat again. Add in Salt, White Pepper Powder, Black Pepper Powder and Mustard Powder. (Mixture # 1)
Take the pre baked Quiche Pastry and add the layers of Mixture # 1 and grated Cheddar and Mozzarella Cheese, the Vegetables, Sweet Corn and spread some Chicken Chunks as well. Sprinkle ¼ Thyme Powder on top of the Quiche Filling.
Bake Quiche for 15-18 minutes.
Then turn on the Grill and Grill this Quiche for 2 minutes for a golden brown top.
Serve hot and enjoy the taste of each layer of the Quiche.
