HOW TO COOK DIFFERENT KINDS OF FISH AT HOME

Fish is a full form of nutrients specially proteins. It is even good for growing age kids as well as pregnant women as it provides many healthy nutrients that human body needs.

Following are some of the recipes to cook Fish with different styles at home:-

  1. HOW TO MAKE SPICY SAFFRON FISH RECIPE ?

 SPICY SAFFRON FISH

INGREDIENTS FOR SPICY SAFFRON FISH RECIPE:-

  • Fish (Any)= 4-5 large pieces (two inches thick)
  • Garlic Cloves= 2-3 (crushed)
  • Black Pepper Powder= 1 tsp (freshly grounded)
  • Red Chilli Powder= 1 tsp
  • Salt= 1 tsp
  • Eggs= 2
  • Saffron Strands= 5-6 (soaked in hot water)
  • Oil= for deep frying

 

PREPARATION FOR SPICY SAFFRON FISH RECIPE:-

Time required to make Spicy Saffron Fish= 90- 120 minutes for marination, 10-15 minutes for frying

Spicy Saffron Fish serving= 4-5 people

 

METHOD TO MAKE SPICY SAFFRON FISH:-

Take a bowl and add Eggs in it. Beat the Eggs.

Then add Saffron, Red Chilli Powder, Salt, Black Pepper Powder and crushed Garlic cloves. Mix well.

Take a separate bowl and add Spicy Saffron Fish pieces in it. Pour the beaten egg mixture and mix well.

Marinate the Spicy Saffron Fish with the mixture for 90-120 minutes.

Take a deep pan and add Oil in it. Heat the Oil on a medium flame and Fry these marinated Spicy Saffron Fish pieces one by one until they turn golden-brown.

Take these Spicy Saffron Fish pieces out on a tissue paper kept on the serving dish to drain excess Oil.

Serve this Spicy Saffron Fish pieces hot with Boiled Rice.

 

 

 

  • HOW TO MAKE BENGALI FISH CURRY RECIPE ?

 BENGALI FISH CURRY

INGREDIENTS FOR BENGALI FISH CURRY RECIPE:-

  • Pomfret Fish (pieces)= 1 kg
  • Turmeric Powder= 2 tsp
  • Red Chilli Powder= 2 tsp
  • Salt= 1 ½ tsp
  • Fenugreek seeds= 1/3 tsp
  • Cumin Seeds (Zeera)= 1/3 tsp
  • Coriander Powder= 1 tsp
  • Ginger/ Garlic Paste= 5 tsp
  • Onion= 1 cup (finely chopped)
  • Tomatoes= ½ Cup chopped
  • Green Chillies= 5 chopped
  • Coriander leaves= ½ cup chopped
  • Taiz Patta= 3-4
  • Oil= as required
  • Water= as needed

 

 

PREPARATION FOR BENGALI FISH CURRY RECIPE:-

Time required to make Bengali Fish Curry= 45-50 minutes

Bengali Fish Curry serving= 6-7 people

 

METHOD TO MAKE BENGALI FISH CURRY:-

Wash the Pomplet Fish and keep it in a bowl.

Add 1 tsp of Turmeric Powder and 1 tsp of Salt to it evenly on the fish.

Keep this for 15-20 minutes.

Take Oil in a frying Pan on a medium flame and fry this Pomfret Fish pieces slightly.

To make the Bengali Fish Curry, take a wok and add Oil in it. Then add Fenugreek Seeds (crushed) and Cumin Seeds (Zeera) for one minute or so. Stir with a spoon.

Then add Taiz Patta and chopped Onions and cook till the Onions turn golden-brown.

Next, add Red Chilli Powder and Ginger/ Garlic paste and fry for 1 more minute.

Then add Tomatoes and let them cook till you can see the Oil separately.

Then on a low flame add Salt, chopped Green Chillies and dried Coriander Powder and let it cook for 3-4 minutes more.

Last step to make Bengali Fish Curry is to add 2-3 cups of Water on a medium-high flame. When the water starts boiling, add the pieces of Pomfret Fish that was fried slightly. When the water starts boiling again, cover the wok with a lid and let it cook for 12-15 minutes more till you get the desired gravy of the Bengali Fish Curry.

Garnish Bengali Fish Curry with Coriander Leaves and serve hot with boiled Rice.

 SINGAPORI FISH

INGREDIENTS FOR SINGAPORI FISH RECIPE:-

  • Fish (Any)= 1 kg
  • Garlic Cloves= 2-3 (crushed)
  • Vinegar= 1 Cup
  • All Purpose Flour (Maida)= 1 Cup
  • Salt= 1 tsp
  • Black Pepper Powder= 1 ½ tsp
  • Chinese Salt (Ajinomoto)= 2 tsp
  • Eggs= 2
  • Oil= for deep frying

 

 

PREPARATION FOR SINGAPORI FISH RECIPE:-

Time required to make Singapori Fish= 20-30 minutes

Singapori Fish serving= 4-5 people

 

METHOD TO MAKE SINGAPORI FISH:-

Making Singapori Fish is a very simple recipe.

The first step to make Singapori Fish is to cut the fish into finger length like French Fries.

Wash the fish with ½ Cup of Vinegar.

The next step to make Singapori Fish is to take a bowl and add the remaining Vinegar, Black Pepper Powder, Salt and Chinese Salt (Ajinomoto). Mix well.

Then Dip the fish slices in this mixture.

Then take a separate bowl and beat the Eggs in it.

After dipping the Fish in the Vinegar Mixture, dip the Fish in the beaten Egg bowl.

Then dip the fish slices in All Purpose Flour (Maida) on a flat tray. Note that the All Purpose Flour should be put evenly on the Fish.

Take Oil in a deep frying pan on a medium heat and fry these Singapori Fish slices in deep Frying pan until Golden Brown.

Serve the Singapori Fish with Tomato Ketchup and Tartar Sauce.

Serve Singapori Fish hot and enjoy the delicious taste of the Singapori Fish.
