HAIR CARE TIPS:-
- For dry hair:- Massage your scalp with oil after shampooing and when the hair is still moist, massage the oil onto the scalp. Gently brush hair till the ends.
- Hot water can cause irritation to the scalp and makes the scalp dry, Try using warm water.
- Massage scalp as often as you can on a regular basis. This helps in the eduction of dryness in hair and stimulates Oil production.
- Wash your hair in one direction to avoid getting tangled hair.
- Always use a soft brush (boar bristle), to facilitate oil to spread from roots to tip.
- Always comb/ brush your hair gently.
- Try Protein treatments and Hot oil treatments twice a month to keep the scalp lubricated as hair gets dry due to daily shampooing.
- Use egg and yogurt mixture on hair once a month.
HAIR CARE MYTHS:-
- Myth:- If I shave my head , hair will grow back thick and healthy.
Truth:- Your hair will grow exactly the same as it was before.
- Myth:- Hair shouldn’t be washed everyday!!
Truth:– If you have oily hair, wash your hair everyday with an extreme mild shampoo.
If your hair is dry, use a hair mask an hour before shampooing your hair and wash it as infrequently as you can.
- Myth:- Plucking out grey hairs will make them sprout even more!!
Truth:- When your hair is getting grey, there is nothing you can do about it. You can either colour it or wear it proudly the way it is. Plucking the hair can damage hair follicles and can even lead to infections. Or you can go for such a hair cut which can make grey hair look cool .
- Myth:- The more expensive hair products I use, the better my hair will look.
Truth:- Choose only natural and preferable home made hair care products for getting thick, healthy and shiny hair.
- Myth:- If I have my hair trimmed frequently, it will grow better!
Truth:- Your hair will grow with the same speed.
