{"id":1187,"date":"2013-09-05T11:52:08","date_gmt":"2013-09-05T06:52:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blazeminds.com\/blog\/?p=1187"},"modified":"2013-09-27T20:20:04","modified_gmt":"2013-09-27T15:20:04","slug":"noodle-and-spinach-salad-asian-salad","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blazeminds.com\/blog\/noodle-and-spinach-salad-asian-salad\/","title":{"rendered":"Noodle and Spinach Salad &#8211; Asian Salad"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As the Sun shines brighter with every passing day we yearn to eat lighter foods.<\/p>\n<p>Here is a short and an easy recipe of a yummy <strong>SALAD<\/strong> i.e. <strong>an Asian Inspiration<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->INGREDIENTS FOR SALAD:-<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>3 ounce packet Instant Noodle Soup Mix (Maggi, Knorr, etc)<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 cup silvered Almonds<\/li>\n<li>2 tbsp Sesame seeds<\/li>\n<li>10 ounces baby Spinach<\/li>\n<li>1 bunch Spring Onions<\/li>\n<li>1 tin Tuna (in brine) &#8211; optional<\/li>\n<li>half a Pomegranate when in season<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>DRESSING FOR SALAD:-<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>8 tbsp Olive Oil<\/li>\n<li>3 tbsp Sugar<\/li>\n<li>3 tbsp unseasoned Rice Vinegar<\/li>\n<li>3 tbsp Soy sauce<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>PREPARATION:-<\/p>\n<p>Whisk 6 tbsp Oil, Sugar, Vinegar and Soy sauce in a small bowl to blend.<\/p>\n<p>Season with Salt and pepper to taste. Set aside.<\/p>\n<p>Chop Spring Onions.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>DIRECTIONS:-<\/p>\n<p>Heat the remaining 2 tbsp Oil in a \u00a0frying pan over medium heat. Add Noodles from soup mix, Nuts and Seeds, and stir until toasted and golden (approximately eight minutes). Pour contents of pan into a large bowl and let cool for ten minutes. Add Spinach and Spring Onions to same bowl. If you choose to use Tuna and\/or Pomegranate, mix well to ensure even distribution.
