Hot and sour soup


People use the soup in china in between 6th and 7th century. It works as a good appetizer. The use of soup increase mostly in winter season. A chef named Ling prepared hot and sour soup for the very first time in his small restaurant. People liked it very much. Let’s learned the method below.


Ingredients: chicken 100 gm, carrot 1, cabbage 1, capsicum 1, green shallots 1, egg 1, chicken stock 4 cups, corn flour 3 tbsp, chili garlic sauce 3 tbsp, tomato ketchup 2 tbsp, salt to taste, black pepper powder 1/4 tsp and white pepper 1/4 tsp.


Take boneless chicken and cut it into small size then add it into chicken stock, Bring it to boil and simmer until the chicken is tender, Cut all the vegetables into the thin long stripes and add it into the chicken stock, Add all the sauces and spices, Mix it well and cook it 4 to 6 minutes, Mix corn flour into the cold water and add it into the chicken stock, Beat an egg well, Add that beaten egg into the mixture, cook it 5 to 6 minutes more, Now hot and sour soup is ready,  serve it with garlic bread and slices of button mushrooms.
